Lately i've been hearing tons of shit about how both systems are blowing the fuck up. So I wanna know what you would rather?

360 has this 3RL problem, really sucks, but not much since its quite cheap (!) and easily replaceable. PS3 on the other hand is very very expensive and it breaking down isn't really an option. I'll probably wait until mid next year before buying a PS3 and wait and see if its getting its price lowered or if there's going to be a new version of it.

My x360 crapped and got it replace a day later, so I don't have an issue. Word of advice if you going to get a x360 then warranty is a must. Also if you see any signs of it messing up, try and back up your saved game files asap if possible.

I see, so has anyone heard about the PS3 blowing to hell? I heard from people around here that it overheats and then fucks up. But at the same time, I heard that from people who have never came by a PS3 in there life.

My brother-in-law took every precaution to prevent his 360 from over heating. The shit broke anyway.

WTF? Do these machines just overheat like really quick or something, or gamer nerds are just fucking losers playing it/leaving it on 24 hours a day?

best guess? probably the latter of the two. I had one of the early 360's and mine crapped out...so I bought one from wal-mart, swapped everything but the harddrives and took it back. I was gonna do it the legit way, but microsoft told me they were gonna take 2 wks to get it back to me

I almost bought an Xbox 360 but I decided to just wait another year then get both systems. By then the 360's fucked up hardware malfunctions should be fixed and the PS3 will be way cheaper.

I havent been impressed enough by any 360 or PS3 games yet to get either system despite the claims of the 360 having tons of great games I just havent seen that must have title yet.

I think the 360 is a piece of shit in regards to reliability. Game library is shitty as well. BUT, the games coming out for it this fall are going to (hopefully) be amazing. I am still waiting for the motherfucking coffin to come for my 360 and am pissed because I wanted Stranglehold day one. So, I would get a 360 but get a warranty so you do not have to wait for it when it breaks (it will).

The PS3 is awesome in regards to reliability and hardware BUT it has no games at all. It will probably have an awesome library at the end of 2008 but by then the price will drop.

Conclusion: Get a 360 and a warranty this year. Get a PS3 in fall of 2K8.

Thats proably the best idea. I've always been a huge fan of Playstation so it would have been hard to cross over to XBox.

The overheating problem in the 360 has been "fixed." I guess there is a new idea they are trying with the heatsink to help the heating problem.

But to answer your question, depends on what kind of gaming your into. 360 has had a huge jump on everyone with a lot of games in the library. That with live make the 360 a great multiplayer console.

As for the PS3, I know that there isn't many games, but a lot of great single player games for it. With the addition of a few great exclusives that are coming out within next year, the PS3 will become a greater force in 08.

The Wii is fun because of the concept. I only have 3 games for it, but the controller is what makes it so much fun. Plus, with Smash Bros. coming out soon, I can't wait.
