WARNING: This book is not to be used for hacking into government computers, shutting down AOL, cracking software, phone phreaking, spreading viruses, or any other illegal activity.

Is your computer safe from computer viruses and malicious hackers? No matter how secure you think your computer is, it’s still vulnerable to a variety of attacks that can ruin your files or hoodwink you out of thousands of dollars.

This newly revised third edition of the best-selling Steal This Computer Book will help you protect yourself. You’ll discover:

How to tackle spyware, web bugs, and adware—seemingly innocent programs that harvest your private information
How hackers hide their identities and shred their files
How hackers write computer viruses and worms
How Trojan Horse programs work and how to defend against them
How hackers steal software and defeat copy protection mechanisms
How to fight back against spammers
How to tell when your machine is being attacked and what you can do to protect it
Where the hackers are, how they probe a target and sneak into a computer and what they do when they get there

Thanx for the good stuff man. But a word of advice. Rather than making so many threads, I think it might be better if you post stuff in a single thread. That would make it easier to access.

Anyways You know I appreciate the stuff you post and Thanx again. Peace.

No fuck that. New thread every time. Thats easier to find shit.

I go on here and look at threads I haven't seen and then read about what he has posted. Going through pages and pages of thread is annoying though.

If everyone thinks that it would be better for me to post in one single thread, then I can do that no problem! However, I am like kronker and figured that would be more of a pain in the ass! Also I can't really post things in the proper section that way unless I make a WOOD'S Thread in every section that I post in and to me, like I said b4, that just seems like more of a pain in the ass!

Don't matter to me.....Whatever is for the greater good of the SHOES, so you guys let me know what you think!

I didn't give you a neg rep. It should have given positive. I wonder what the heck happened...

old but I am agree, new thread makes it easier for me too... that way I can just look at the thread title and see if I want to DL or not without having to go that extra step

also... sometimes my browser shows posts as being updated when they are not... just my 2 pennies

Don't know but it showed up as blue or gray. Don't know exactly what that means or even how to give a blue rep, but that's what showed up.

It's cool though man, no big deal

Yep I still agree. My browser also has a tendency to do that shit too
