well....brasil will advance. of course.

they killed japan today.
do you guys think they could still win it all?

will ronaldo get the goals record?

what will the final be, or who would be the ones to take them out?

i say. brasil wins it all again. ronaldo DOES get the record, and still gets about 3 more goals after it.

i';d wanna see something like.... brasil/argentina for the final.

Brasil looked like Brasil ought to look against Japan. They should keep that formation, and drop Roberto Carlos and Emerson.
They looked dynamic, innovative, motivated and just plain splendid. They had some serious flaws in defence, but I guess that's because they were not too woried about Japan's counter, which they were punished for in the first half.

Ciccinho and Juninho were excellent and made Brasil look so much more dangerous and unstatic.

I am still hoping that England will bring gold back home this year, but if they keep playing like the first 3 games its unlikely. Also the way we just fell apart after Sweden equalised was very worrying. We can not afford to just break under pressure at this level.
Our attack looks depleted without Owen and Rooney not at 100% and Walcott still untested. Fingers crossed.

I am really worried about Italy actually; flying under the radar. They look bloody menacing and they may be up for an upset and go all the way.

Good post. I don't see why anyone would count Brazil out at this point. They didn't play their best in the 1st gam e but in the match versus Japan they weren't even necessarily aggressive and they scored the 4 goals. I think that Argentina has a legitimate shot, but I don't see why Messi didn't get more time. I know they have Cambiosso, Tevez and Crespo to use, but I think Messi needs the opportunity to shine all game, not just the last 10 of regular time. Spain could also succeed with the combination of youth and veterans that they have, especially up front.

One would be a fool to ever count out Brasil in the World Cup. I think the most impressive team so far has to be the Germans but there is a long way to go yet.

germany has finally impressed me with their win against sweden

argentina is always a threat, i hope its brazil and argentina in the final!

england has yet to show why they deerve to win

italy is low profile but always a soliod team and very dangerous

brasil will prob go to the old team with only one change at most (though we have yet to show a great perfomance)

spain shos promise and france barely went through

iholland is good but i dont think theyre that good

the others all have chance but not that great
