What do you guys think of him? I can't believe how intense that guy was, pretty much all action. I always knew the stories about how Sugar Ray Leonard and some other big names of the time ducked and avoided him like the he had leprosy, but now I can understand why. Its a real shame he never got the big fights that he deserved besides Arguello.

I liked how he'd get caught with a huge punch, dropped, jump up laughing, and then beat the guys ass.

pryor v arguello was classic.

damn ive never heard of this guy!! but he is pretty awesome

struggled with drugs problem. he ended up blind in one eye.

the guy got angrier when he got hit, imagine hitting someone who actually liked it

he never lost a fight.
Pryor had an granite chin and never got tired.
Arguello said after his 2 wars with Pryor that "when I hit him with my best shots he just got pissed".

Pryor was one of those guys who didnt get the respect he deserved in his own time
he chased that one big fight his entire career and when he finally got it there wasnt anybody at 140 in history would have stopped him

Yeah thats a real good special. I love Arguello and it sucks to see him take such a vicious beating, but it just goes to show you what a force Pryor was. Guys like Freddie Roach and Kevin Rooney will go ON and ON about what a master boxer Arguello was, and how he seemed to know what guys were going to throw before they through it, but Pryor's fury and intesity was too much for him I guess.

I still havent seen the full fight, that was the only link I could find and ive watched it about 6 times seen it about onece

the fights were awesome, almost as awesome as randy savage vs ricky steamboat

I was hopeing it would be more like the Jerico vs Austin vs Rock triple threat match for the HW title of the entire universe
