In my JJJ class we call the gi choke where you stand in front of your opponent and cross your arms around both sides of your opponent's neck and pull apart:
kube shime.

Kote Gaishi means wrist turn. It describes chicken wing holds that turn the wrist.

I love it, but it's not grappling-style in the classic sense. It's a self-defense and more of stuff you would see police and military do - disarms, pins, throws, chokes, lots of wristlocks, hammerlocks, strikes to eyes, throat, groin, etc, good balance and evasive footwork.

If you saw the episode of human weapon where they studied judo and went to the mountains on one part whering black pants, it's like that. But a bit more modernized.

oh that's it. Would like to train judo or bjj as well, but don't have enough money. Did some karate a few year back but not enough to count.

They got a Gracie Barra, but he was a dick to me on the phone so I didn't bother.

A couple judo clubs as well, and loads of tma just like anywhere.
