I'm trying to play video clip that is an .avi. It won't play wit Windows Mdia Player. Do i need something to play it? Thaks

codec problem? Search codec on google and download a codec pack

Try the media player classic. A pop up will usually appear saying that some codec needs to be downloaded or such or the file is corrupted and it cannot be played.

avi is divx downloaded the divx player and it will work

AVI can be a lot of things. Try downloading codec packs and the divx and xvid codecs. Download Gspot and see what codec the video uses and download that.
