Total Nonstop Acting Wrestling's co-founder, Jeff Jarrett, spoke with reporters in Nashville regarding TNA's latest signing of Tennessee Titan, Adam "Pacman" Jones.
We have had much speculation on the role of Pacman with TNA. If you guys have kept up to date with the Pacman-TNA story there have been many reports that have quoted his agent and attorney as saying Jones would not be participating in-ring because of his NFL contract which does not allow him to participate in activities such as skydiving or motorcycle riding. However there is no mention of professional wrestling. That not only goes for Pacman but for any NFL signed players.
Here is what Jeff Jarrett had to say regarding his role in TNA:
"He's looking forward to coming in and wrestling," TNA Wrestling co-founder Jeff Jarrett said Monday. "He wants to concentrate on the tag-team aspect of wrestling... Absolutely, yes, he is going to get in the ring."
Besides Jones agent and attorney saying he will not be wrestling, Titans Coach Jeff Fisher also said last week that Pacman "is not permitted in accordance with his contract."
His first appearance on Thursday's iMPACT! has already been taped. His first live debut will take place this Sunday at Hard Justice in Orlando.
