- It is obvious that the news released by WWE regarding the release of Aaron "Idol" Stevens came as a surprise to many people. As reported yesterday Stevens had spent time teaming with KC James working as a tag team for OVW. He was also OVW champion earlier this year and also worked the OVW Six Flags show this past Friday.

It is said that he had been told he was going to be promoted back into the main roster and was flown on Monday to RAW. Sometime Monday afternoon he was given his release.
