The Tennessean is reporting this morning that The Tennessee Titans' contract would prohibit Pacman Jones from entering a TNA ring. "That type of thing is not permitted in accordance with the player's contract," Coach Jeff Fisher told the newspaper.

Initial reports from various TNA sources indicated that Jones would be used at least once as a wrestler as part of the deal that TNA put together. It is possible that with the recent media attention given to this situation, the Titans organization who reportedly initially supported the venture, to have second thoughts.

TNA has no official comment at this time, Steven Godrey, who is the Public Relations head of TNA told reporters that a statement will be released within a few days.
