- Thanks to Kid USA for sending these RAW notes in:
From the seats that were available, the arena was about 90-95% sold out. Even though it was labeled as a "sold out" event.
The evening opened with the Heat webcast tapings. Local boy Ryan O'Reilly took on Super Crazy. Super Crazy was way over with the crowd. The match has some sloppy spots but it still was well done. It ended with Crazy winning with a top rope moonsault.
The next match was William Regal facing "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan. Duggan does the usually stomping and "USA" chants. This match was horrible. It just looked like Duggan was out of his league and Regal had to carry what was supposed to be a match. Duggan wins however with a school boy after whipping Regal into the ringpost on the outside.
The next match, quite possibly one of the best matches of the night, 8-man tag team match featuring Lance Cade, Trevor Murdoch, Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin -v- The Highlanders, Paul London & Brian Kendrick. Lots of fast paced action and back and forth. Match ended with Cade & Murdoch taking out Rory of The Highlanders after Kendrick and London take out WGTT.
Next match was Snitsky destroying a local guy... I did not catch the name. RAW began next.
During the break after the Cody Rhodes match, Maria came out to do the Kiss Cam...
The dark match after the show was over was John Cena -v- Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. Decent 6 minute match where the end came after Orton argued with the referee and turned right into an F-U.
Biggest Pop -
1. John Cena (The crowd in Tucson were 80-20 in favor of Cena)
2. Triple H return promo
3. Bobby Lashley
4. Jerry Lawler
5. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan
Biggest Heat -
1. King Booker
2. Carlito
3. Mr. Kennedy
4. Johnathan Coachman
5. Randy Orton
