Adam "Pacman" Jones is suspended from the NFL, but he might be keeping himself occupied with pro wrestling in the meantime.
A report from Nashville TV station WTVF-5 says the Titans cornerback is expected to sign a deal with Total Non-stop Action Wrestling (TNA) soon, with a deal possibly being announced as early as Tuesday.
Jones was suspended by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell after several brushes with the law over his short career, capped with an incident in a Vegas strip club that left a bouncer paralyzed.
Worrick Robinson, an attorney for Jones, said Pacman and TNA are talking about "some kind of role" in the company and told The Tennessean that his client "won't be wrestling" and wouldn't play a villain.
Robinson said he expects an announcement in the next several days, but told the paper that any commitment would be short term and that returning to the NFL remains Jones' first priority.
Former Titans tight end Frank Wycheck wrestled in a TNA event in June, with current Titan Kyle Vanden Bosch joining him.
This is puzzling news. Didnt he basically smack this stipper and then cause a ruckus? Didnt TNA recently get some heat from Spike for all the boy on girl violence on their show?
