this fight seems to be more likely to happen due to it's obvious reason of how much more money it would generate oppose to Hatton Vs Mayweather.

http://ninjashoes.net/forum/showthread.php?t=22260. I think I prefer Mayweather vs Hatton as they both have an undefeated record and Mayweather have been bad-mouthing Hatton for a long time already. Its time for Mayweather to back up on his claims that ha can beat Hatton.

I would also prefer him to fight Mayweather. De La Hoya is past it.

I don't care which one Hatton fights I would pay to see both of them.

But I do think that a fight between Mayweather vs Hatton would be more exciting for me to watch.

As far as money the current talk is that for Hatton - Mayweather, Hitman is getting $16 million and Mayweather is getting alot more. Hatton signed with Golden Boy for 1 fight to promote this and make it happen. This will be a big seller but probably not at the level of DLH Mayweather because the casual fan is stupid.

I agree that the casual fan is stupid. But anyone can see that this fight can be very good.
I think that the way in which the fight is promoted can show any casual fan that this fight will be good.

Maybe if they use the same formula they used to promote for the Del La Hoya, Mayweather fight. The documentary style promos they had every weekend that lead up to the fight seemed to get peoples attention.

I had people coming up to me and asking who I thought would win because they knew I was a boxing fan and they were only casual fan. This buzz surprised me but it worked.

Only thing is... EVERYBODY knows DLH (the golden boy) and all his PPV's sell massive numbers. I will be very happy if this sells half as many as the other show. WAR HATTON. Oh and

THE FIGHT IS SIGNED --- December 8th!!!!!

Hbo did one for Cotto/Judah and it was great, I dont see why they would stop now
Hatton wont win this fight in my opinion, Im not convinced he can carry the extra weight well enough, this will be at 154 most likely to so its heavier than Hattons ever came into a fight and he looked pretty ordinary at 147 even though he fought 2 south paws
Im pretty sure ODH will be a huge favourite for this one, good to see him having 2 big fights this year

Mayweather is going to win unfortunately. However I think a DLH fight would be much more exciting.

The fight is gonna be at 147. Floyd already said he's giving up the 154 belt.
