- As previously posted, indy star Matt Sydal has had talks with WWE about coming to the company. Sydal was even backstage at a recent WWE event.
- In an interesting note, the best selling wrestling DVD of all time is "Grandmasters of Wrestling" which are $1 DVD's sold at Wal-Mart. As of 12/30/2006 it had sold 426,775 units total.
- WWE's Judgment Day PPV did about 245,000 buys which is the best number for a "B" PPV since Unforgiven 2006. Judgment Day 2006 did 252,000 buys.
- Prior to getting injured and being out for an expected four months, WWE superstar Edge was set for a long run with the World Heavyweight championship as the top star on the SmackDown brand.
