I wanted to know what is a decent brand or set of 16's that are good. I'm not looking to get top of the line, just a pair that are decent that don't cost much. Thanks.

Right now, Ill only be hitting the heavy bag, but I expect to start sparring in three months or so. So, which should I get? http://www.cletoreyes.com.mx/ing/prod/eentrena/entrenaf.html The #3, Profesional Training Gloves, or the #4 Bag Gloves. The bag gloves cost the half and their supposed to last longer, but I dont know if i should just go for the training gloves, considering ill have to buy them in some months when I start sparring anyway. Do the bag gloves last considerably longer, making it worthy, or will the training gloves last long enough (more than a year at least lol) if I use them eveyday for hitting the bag. Thanks for your advice. Vando 09-11-2007, 05:58 PM www.everlastboxing.com nativeprodigy 09-11-2007, 07:04 PM Hey guys, I didnt want to start a new thread, cuase its a very similar question. A HEAVY bag will trash your gloves after a while & sparring will not be a pleasant experience for your partner! As it goes, I use 16oz gloves for both - being 220 pounds. thaiboxer 09-26-2007, 04:22 PM 16oz Everlast can be used for about anything and are pretty inexpensive.
