The reason that Cody Runnels has been given a quick push onto the main WWE roster is directly related to the Benoit tragedy. As weird as that may sound, Vince McMahon told the creative team that they must come up with an idea to get people to focus on new angles and not dwell on tragedy. One best ways Vince sees fit to do that is to bring in fresh faces. Runnels was hands down the top choice due to his remarkable work in the developmental territories.

Several people backstage in WWE have said that the stress on Vince McMahon has really started to show over the past three weeks.

That's got to be strange for Cody.

"One of our wrestlers murdered his wife and son.....want a push?"

This WILL suck! O man.

I think Cody could be good, but I think he needs a little more time elsewhere to develop his abilities.
