The dvd player in my laptop doesn't seem to work anymore. I think the drivers aren't working... Does anyone know how to accommodate me with the knowledge? Also... for awhile on PC the volume control on my keyboard would cause my computer to freeze and crash. But now it seems to have magically fixed itself. The only problem now with the PC is the mouse..... I can no longer press down for the auto scroll...... i am a noob at things help nigga.

I would hit it with a overhand right. Or go to the manufacturer web site to see about the updated software.

What brand of laptop is it? They should have the drivers in the laptop manufacturer's website. Install and see if it works.

Do you have the driver? Is it an executable or a .dll file?
Go to Hardware>Device Manager
Go to your DVD Drive and update driver and link the .dll file to it.

It sounds like it is time to reformat, reload windows and start over. If you don't know how to do that take it to a PC shop or BestBuy and let the geeksquad do it. It will cost a few coins but you won't have to dick with it anymore.
