- Buster Donnely sent the following in: WWE's ShopZone website is now selling a 2008 WWE wall calendar. Funny thing is, on the front of the calendar is pictures of Rey Mysterio, John Cena and none other than Rob Van Dam. It's not available to be shipped until 8/10, but the website says it is a 16 month calendar and each month features WWE superstar bios and factoids.
- Tommy Fowler sent the following: Hey I attended the UWF show last night in Myrtle Beach which was a part of the Rock n Roll Express Tag Team tournament and was easily the worse event live I've ever attended. The Steiners defeated Too Cool in a horrible match. Scott Steiner looked very very bad and even botched the finish when he tried to suplex Brian Christopher, he just fell on the mat and then got the pin. The Steiners won their match on the Thursday night UWF show too but this show was just way worse. Tonight in the final night of the tournament, The Steiners will face LAX in a finals match.
- Paul sent the following: Hulk Hogan's WCW debut where he beat Ric Flair in the 1990's for the WCW World title was compared to David Beckham's upcoming LA Galaxy debut, along with other high profile sports debuts over the year. That little feature appears in the local Star Telegram here in Fort Worth, TX.
