This Episode was all about Muay Thai. I like that they showed some the different styles of Muay Thai that can be found all across Thailand. My favorite part was in the last half hour when they went to the jungles on the border of Burma.

All that build up for the fight at the end was a major let down. That fight was not good at all. I wanted Jason Chambers to get his ass kicked but you can see that the Thai fighter was holding back.

This show looks good and I will try to watch all the episodes.next week is all about Eskrima.

great fucking show. I'm sure it'll pop up soon enough. TBH, they've re-run the shit out of it this weekend. It premiered friday and I've seen it on about 7 times since then.

pretty cool show - they went all these MT camps in different parts of the country - learning different techniques. Plus they touched on some technical stuff concerning the different strikes. The one camp was like that Yellow Book commercial with David Carradine - they were in the sticks, kicking babmoo trees to harden thier shins - chopping into water to learn not to blink. Sweet. They said there are 60,000 professionl MT fighters in Thailand compared with 3,000 professional boxers in the USA. Fighting is the main way out of poverty. Another cool factoid was that before 1929, there were really no rules - fighters wrapped hemp ropes around thier fists to keep from breaking thier hands. The death rate was pretty high. Next week they go to the Phillipines.

Well, I mean what did you think was going to happen. Jason Chambers is a C level MMA fighter who works with BJJ. He fought a MT champion who was much quicker and has way, way more MT skills. In that context, it wasn't that bad.

I really liked the show the two guys are kind of lame abd the fight was a bit of a let down just because i watched it with some people who know nothing about the sport and they were not impressed with the champion (even though they believed he was holding back)

was a good show i liked it more cause it showed the history and different forms of muay thai, especially the stuff the jungle near burma that looked brutal, the fight at the end was a joke, the thai guy wasnt even trying, he would have beat that jason guy in 30 seconds if he was trying. The part at the strat with the ko who got ko'd was pretty bad showing him being carted out the ring all fucked up.....good show i though tho..

That is exactly what I thought about the show. That shit in the jungle near burma looked like it could have been out of a movie. I would love to train like that.

How do you get into the stash?
I can't seem to find it on the Forum.
