WBC/WBA super middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler (39-0, 29KOs) is looking for blood when he meets WBO titleholder Joe Calzaghe (43-0, 32KOs) on November 3 at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.
During an interview with BBC Sport Wales , the unbeaten champion from Denmark said he does not have any fear of Calzaghe's high output of punches because a lot of them are slaps.
"Calzaghe's an awkward fighter who throws a lot of punches but slaps a lot, too," Kessler said.
Kessler said the bout with Calzaghe is the one big fight he was waiting for his entire career. He plans to cash out by punishing Calzaghe with a combination of smart boxing and power punching.
"I've been waiting all my life for this, a big fight on US television against a great champion," Kessler said. "They've been talking about this fight in Denmark for years. I don't want to reveal my tactics, but I'll keep my distance as usual. I'm a more intelligent fighter than Calzaghe. Lacy was too slow to take him on, but I know that I'm number one in the division and I'm going to kick his ass."

I love Kesslers boxing style. He reminds me a bit of a smaller Wlad,[except he has a chin].He's a long range power puncher who snaps his shots hard & straight down the pipe.
Someones 0 has to go & Calzaghe's in trouble,IMO Kessler is the man at 168, he's younger, punches harder & boxes beautifully from the outside.I look 4 him to outpunch & hurt Calzaghe like Joe has never felt before and win a UD or maybe even a late rd stoppage.
