I would have to reccomend not buying this game. It is a very simple action beat-em up game with subpar graphics and a short story. Plus nothing else to do but level up your charachters all the way or beat it on the hard difficulty. The game is pretty simple though, there are strong and weak attacks, and no block button. The only combos you can do are ones like xxxx or aaaa. Nothing like axa or axx or anything like that, which is kind of lame. If you hold down right trigger/r1 it brings up your "super-powers" menu. Each character has four and they never get anymore. Also, the game takes only a few hours to beat.
Instead of this play Marvel Ultimate Alliance for 360/ps3, it has the Fantastic Four and the game is a million times better. You can play with the Fantastic Four as soon as you get to the first "Shield Access" point which is very early on and if you get tired of them you can always play as some other hero like Spider-man/Ghost Rider/Who the fuck ever plus you learn new powers and get way more badass than you ever could on this game. You can even Silver Surfer if you are vigilant enough (he is the hardest character to unlock), which you will definitely not be doing in the Fantastic Four game.
If you really like Fantastic Four/Comic books maybe try this game or rent it to whore the achievements, as it is not terrible, but definitely don't spend 60 bucks on it.
