Holy shit.Big upset right there!!
Beanflicker 07-08-2007, 03:40 AM I don't really know much about Darchinyan, so I can't really appreciate this upset.
ItBurnzWhenIP 07-08-2007, 06:41 AM Huge upset. Nonito moved down in weight was taller and bigger but it looked as if Darchinyan had started to take over right before the KO. He landed a big body shot that looked to hurt Donaire then walked right into a massive left and the last I saw they were bringing out the stretcher to use for him. Darchinyan got back up after the shot at 8 but stumbled immediately and almost fell out through the ropes.
This was a big time upset for those that don't know
fuck this is sad news, Vic is one of my favourite fighters, havemt seen the fight yet, actually havent seen Vic fight for awhile but I watched nearly all his first 22 fights on cable and I knew he was going to be a champion one day
I hope he can come back from this
I guess ill have to pray Katsidis keeps winning

loui_ludwig 07-08-2007, 05:55 PM Anybidy have a video of this fight.
Aiden 07-08-2007, 06:10 PM I don't like Vic. He was clearly out of it and was dominated for the 5 rounds but in the post fight interview he tried to say he was never even hurt. Then Vic and Donaire are standing on each side out the interviewer and Vic asks for a rematch in a taunting rude manner with no respect. WTF, he could have at least man'd up and gave the other fighter the credit he deserved. Donaire was very gracious with his comments in victory.
mg_productions 07-08-2007, 06:46 PM Rep Donaire for being gracious and not an asshole after the fight.
I've never heard of either fighter prior to seeing this fight, apparently I don't follow boxing as closely as I thought, but I've become a fan of both afterwards.Any floods would be greatly appreciated.

Vic isnt the sharpest tool in the shed.He thought he was invincible and now hes got to adjust to a different reality. He may be in denial,as was stated earlier hes not terribly bright.
It was funny when Darchinyan taunted sticking his chin out and bang! a straight punch right in his face.
Donaire dominated the fight, he was bigger, had better reach, and way better technique.
ItBurnzWhenIP 07-09-2007, 05:32 AM Vic was just starting to take over when he got popped... Needs a bit better head movement coming in next time.
