hey all
just wondering if anyone who knows how to program would be able to develop code for the site's calendar. basically at the moment im using a java countdown applet which isnt very reliable and is buggy...it works sometimes...
but ive noticed around that websites have html ones built into the webpages...this would be an awesome addition.
basically because of the worldwide events, we need to have adjustments for timezones etc. eg: Vegas UFC's run off +4 GMT and ones in england are exactly GMT...u get what i mean...
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I dont understand why it needs timezones. I mean as long as you match it up to the GMT time or whatever it should be ok.

well some of us dont live in the US.....
this is what i mean
say there is k1 heros at 3pm japan time (GMT +9)
that is 4pm (10+) in my hometown of brisbane, australia
now thats like 6am in the us (i think)
so unless u can count it down on the local japanese time, or adjust it to -4 GMT it will just be counting it on the local time zone you are in (in other words we would miss the event by 9 hours or something cuz it wont be 3pm in the USA until 9 hours after the event started)......am i right?

I still really dont see why it matters. Theres gonna be the same amount of time left before the event no matter where you are. There shouldnt ever be an issue about timezones, all the scripts work on GMT, you just figure out what the GMT time is of the UFC event or whatever it is and enter that in your destination date.
Maybe there is an aspect to the script your using that I don't understand.
