Resin 06-15-2006, 10:09 AM they pay me to say that. sidechoke_bob 06-16-2006, 10:05 AM thanks for the replys, im competing at welterweight but want to move up to middle ( less competition in that division :) ) but just seem to be stuck at this weight maybe i shouldnt fight nature and get on with the training! or else make more visits to burger king nzjujitsu 06-16-2006, 11:38 AM does it do anything nzjujitsu 06-16-2006, 11:39 AM the suppliments TsukinoKage 06-16-2006, 05:57 PM Of course they do something. If they didn't, why would you pay for them? The basics are 1) A good multivitamin 2) Whey Protein Powder 3) Glutamine Whey is a high quality and fast-absorbing protein to help your muscles recover from workouts. Glutamine is good for your immune system and helps with post-workout soreness. Creatine is good too, but it will make you gain some water weight, so don't try this stuff if you're going to have weigh-ins soon. I would also recommend DHA/EPA, such as Omega Fatty Acid pills. They have numerous health benefits, including being good for your style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sifone.gifs. Savage 06-16-2006, 06:24 PM Steroids. That's what the best guys use. But that aside, you can't get size without gaining weight so you better forget trying to make that happen. Hit the weights with a good training program and eat like a horse. As others have said, take in plenty of protein and get some creatine. The idea here is to increase your walk-around weight so that all you have to do is cut some water before a weigh-in. [/b][/quote] If you are going to put size you will need the extra weight, unless you already are overweight. Try to include fish oils in your diet and plenty of greens man. Also the usual essential, drink plenty of clean water, i tend to drink between 3 to 4l daily. Also stop ALL fizzy drinks, event the diet versions are rubbish. Make a log of what you eat and how you exercise each day; that will give you a solid reference database that will allow you to figure out what works and doesn't work for you. Good luck man. ninjashoes 06-17-2006, 10:16 AM yeah take a good style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sifone.gif powder, when you get older your style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sifone.gifs get pretty messed up I also enjoy smoking style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sifone.gifs wangmaster 06-21-2006, 09:16 AM <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(TsukinoKage @ Jun 16 2006, 09:57 AM) Quoted post</div><div class='quotemain'> Of course they do something. Also, i a solid protein works well. I recomend something with egg albumin added to it. I know I'm new to the forum but I'm just saying what works for me.
