View Full Version : Who's gonna win Superbowl 41?
MMAsterkillah 06-14-2006, 05:04 AM I know it isn't even the end of the offseason and key free agents are still on the market looking for a new team to go to, so of course this talk is premature. But, who do you think is going to be the best team in the NFL in 06-07? I'm a huge Patriots' fan and I think we'll be back on track as long as we sign Ty Law or someone like that to help our secondary of Asante Samuel, Randall Gay, Artrell Hawkins, Rodney Harrison, Eugene Wilson, and my boy TeBucky Jones. Our team is obviously very good already, and rooks Laurence Maroney and Chad Jackson have been real good in early camps. We signed Reche Caldwell, but lost Bethel Johnson. We also lost a few backups (Matt Wilhelm, Duane Starks) and some lineman (Tom Ashworth) We got DT Jon Sullivan from N.O. too though, who has been a real disappointment since he arrived with the 6th pick in the 2003 draft. Hopefully for me, his former Georgia teammate Seymour will help him reach his potential and the three along with Ty Warren will dominate the line with big Vince Wilfork for years to come. Oh yeah, Brady is god.

AllAroundSportsFan 06-18-2006, 08:02 PM I'm still in a state of shock that the Pats laid that egg against Denver last year. We would have had the Steelers at home and that weak Seahawks club between us and 3 in a row. I guess we will just have to settle for 4 out of 6. I really think Brady will win the regular season and Superbowl MVP's.
eckopimpin 06-19-2006, 02:59 AM brady is a bitch that team would be shit with out the coach the only way they win is because the other team doesnt show up to play they give them the win.

Hahaha, you wish fucker.
Phins...its gonna be a home game, and the start of a new dynasty.
MMAsterkillah 07-01-2006, 03:01 AM everyone sucks, no1 actually responded with good answers, just completely bias picks of their hometeam. gay, pats got it in the bag.
AllAroundSportsFan 07-02-2006, 04:34 AM I had planned on writing out a nice elaborate reason why the Pats are going to make it 4 of 6 but you covered it well. I also think that Ben Watson is going to have a huge year. I think they are going to try and split him out wide some and take advantage of that speed of his. When he chased down Bailey in the playoffs it was one of the greatest feats of athletisim I have ever seen. Also Clock Killin Corey Dillon is going to bounce back huge with the reduced work load.
schafer 07-03-2006, 05:20 AM BUFFALO!!! j/k. buffalo's my fav team but i doubt they'll do much this year.
it'll probably be the same teams that have been competitive over the last couple years. as mmasterkillah mentioned, the pats are starting to look like they win it again. pittsburgh will probably do well again. the only major player they lost that i know of was bettis to retirement, and bettis was only useful in certain situations anyways. there's no reason to think that seattle won't have another great year.
i don't know if denver will do well again. plummer's always been inconsistent. he could have a bad year
the bears need a quarterback if they want to do anything
the panthers simply aren't good enough to go all the way
schafer 07-03-2006, 05:24 AM <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(AllAroundSportsFan @ Jun 18 2006, 03:02 PM) Quoted post</div><div class='quotemain'>

weak seahawks team? the seahawks were imo a lot more talented and well-rounded than the pats last year. alexander was the best player in the nfl last year, and hasselback had a good year too
onslaught 07-04-2006, 09:46 AM DA BEARS
antonio_dangerous 07-08-2006, 12:14 AM i like the pats. they pretty much got the afc with edge leaving indy and big ben fuckin his dome up. of course is phillip rivers comes thru the charges might be something to fuck with (he prolly wont tho). the ravens also might be a surprise team with mcnair. for the nfc i think the giants are gonna surprise everybody. i like the bears but cmon, they have no passing game. dallas will be good early, but to is bound to do somthing stupid. the eagles time is over. the falcons will prolly be good too.
im going with a pats-giants superbowl, with the pats taking it.
