what is a good program to burn dvds? i heard about nerovision but it only takes samsung dvd-r/rw's and no store's in my area sell those for sum weird reason. any help would be appreciated, thanks fellas

Nero is good for all around DVD burning. ConvertXtoDVD is the best for burning movies.

The program doesn't have anything to do with what media you're burning. It's your burner itself that's picky about what media it can use.
