I had my first 360 get the Red Ring of death. I sent it in to be repaired. In the meanwhile I bought a core system so I could keep playing. I decided to give my first system (the repaired one) to my dad. We were playing some Tiger woods golf and the screen froze. So it appears that Microsoft never fixed the original problem or my box had two different problems and they only fixed one. At least it was still under warranty.

Did it countinue to mess up after you restared it? If so, you should shit in the disc tray, send it back to Microsoft, and say that it is still messed up and has a weird smell coming from it.

Did the screen just freeze and no ring of death? It appears to happen sometimes, kind of like windows.

Yeah. I have had it sitting in my closet since I got it back. The rep just did not understand that it does not have a hard drive attached. I put it on the core system I bought to play while it was down. "but it says here that model is the premium system" Yes Listen to me you slurring, mumbling, dumb bastard There is NO HARD DRIVE on this box.

Yeah, just freeze. But it happens everytime that I start it. I have not had that happened to the core system I bought. It has a later Manufacture date. I think they worked out more of the problems.

That sucks, they probably turned it on and it worked for a second and they decided nothing was wrong.

This is going to get very expensive for Microsoft, if they are not fixing shit. Then people get their warranties extended for another year if they do not fix it right.
