I am in Pittsburgh and yes, a dyed in the wool Steeler fan - like most people in this town I live and die Steelers - it is on par with my mma addiction - the superbowls we won in the 70's are some of my earliest and most cherished memories as a child. When Ben, Jerome, Troy, Hines, Bill and the gang took us back to the promised land it was like a void had been filled in my life. One of the best partys I've ever had.
With that said, GOD DAMN YOU BEN!!! First off, I hope he is okay as a human being, but as a professional football player, and a superstar QB of the super bowl champs no less, you have a civic responsibility and an even bigger responsibility to your team and team mates.
If there was such a thing as professional Darwin award, Ben's not wearing a helmet on these god damned bikes would win it for him hands down.
We're holding our breath over hear for the results of his surgery that has him in serous but stable condition.
You watch your lip Rex - you diss and I will hunt you down and murder you with a coffee straw while you are on the shitter.

I'm shocked, especially after seeing what has happened to athletes in the past couple years in similar accidents. Big Ben was talked to by both Bill Cowher and Terry Bradshaw about his fondness of riding motorcycles without a helmet, yet he still made the mistake. I wish him well, and good health, as I hate seeing anyone hurt like that, but at the same time he made a pretty dumb move. When you are such an instrumental part of a SB team you are hurting your teammates when something like this happens. Thank god my boy Tom Brady wouldnt pull this shit.

God damn that Tom Brady...he is so fucking good..
Here is a link to the front page (not the sports section) of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette if anybody wants to see how insane we are about our football -
http://www.pittsburghpostgazette.com/
- you will find out more about today's accicent than you thought you could. That is all that has been on TV, the Radio or anybody has talked about in Pgh - surreal.

I don't see why Steleer fans are worried about Big Ben being injured, I think his QB rating in the Super Bowl was around 0.
Steeler fans should be worried if the refs get replaced.
