The WWE Ladder Match 3 DVD set and the 2 DVD Most Powerful Families in Wrestling sets are scheduled to be released on June 5th. The Ladder Match DVD is said to be one of the most loaded WWE sets ever with tons of great matches with interviews and comments from Edge, Shawn Michaels, Gregory Helms and Jeff Hardy. The Most Powerful Families DVD features families such as the Harts, the Guerreros, the Grahams, the Windhams, the Colons, the Vachons, the Gagnes, the McMahons, the Von Erichs, the Rogeaus, the Ortons, the Anoa'is, the Funks, the Briscos, and the Maivia/Johnson. A selection of matches are also included on the DVD.

Reports suggest Blockbuster has a deal with the Weinstein Company to provide exclusive content on all Weinstein Company DVD’s which include the Genius Entertainment label that produce WWE DVD’s. The Backlash 2007 DVD from Blockbuster features a bonus disc featuring Santino Marella winning the IC Title from Umaga and Bobby Lashley vs Umaga in a No DQ match from the March 24, 2007 episode of ECW. It look’s like these bonus DVD’s are only featured on PPV DVD’s.

The national media has been making a number of mentions and references to the WWE’s XFL which ended, due to the recent announcement of the formation of upstart United Football League.

Over at the MTV website currently features comments from WWE's Carlito and MMA fighter Urijah Faber in order to promote the 2007 MTV Movie Awards. They spoke on fictional fights between actors in an article.

The XFL? I think Vince learned his lesson the first time.

The UFL however sounds like an even worse idea. Considering the fact that most other sport leagues have a hard time competing with the NFL, they will be destroyed going against them head to head.

He is and as much as I like him, he's a great guy, but he's going to fail miserably.

WTF are they thinking ??? tryin to start up a new football league to compete with the NFL, are you kidding me ?? besides The Canadian Football League and now the World football League the League that even had a chance to compete with the NFL was back in the 80's and it was the USFL. many of you youngins prolly don't remember the USFL. alot of good players went to the NFL from the USFL.
