I recently had somebody ask me for help regarding this post. Why they asked me I have no idea, but I said I'd try to help them out so I've come to you guys.

Hi, and thanks so much for your quick response. No, we're not looking to put a watermark on the tape/D.V.D. because that only constitutes a warning to the prospective copyright thieves. Some time ago, I bought a D.V.D. recorder with the view to puting my entire collection of VHS videos onto D.V.D., therefore saving space. Some of my videos were un-copyable, throwing up a message on the screen saying "COPYING OF THIS FILM (or video, can't remember which)IS NOT PERMITTED!" And you could not physically copy the film under ANY circumstances. So, yes, that's the sort of software that we are looking for, something that will physically block anyone from copying our product. I look forward to hearing from you again.
Does anybody know of software that can be bought that will cause this to happen, or is this just for the big dogs of the movie industry.
