1 major reason is, they want to paint everyone who claims to be religious as some sort of insane, hate filled, sicko like these ppl. There are no doubt a few religious ppl who are completely messed up, like these ppl, and in other religions(what religion do these ppl call themselves, who knows, cant be any that im familiar with) ppl are just as messed up, same with non religious ppl, etc... People in general are twisted and nothing suprises me these days.
