plus mind you all i missed my weight by 3 lbs so i grappled at 174-187 rather than 161-173...

I had a great time at the No Limits gym in Irvine.. the guys are nice and plus i was sitting next to Josh Barnett the whole time talking to him and his "GF"

thanks again to TBA, Rdrgvs, and Narb for coming down and supporting me... im glad i was able to give them some submissions.

i know he was supposed to be there but i never saw him compete.. they werent very vocal about who was going up next.. you had to be in the warmup area to hear who was going up next. and i didnt know what he looked like till i saw his picture yesterday

alberto crane fought like two minutes after you did x against that dude who had a blue belt on his shorts, tapped the guy with a footlock i think, and my buddy told me he had a tough match in the first round until crane got on top

That was a really cool throw in the second clip! I would be interested in hearing how it works and how you like to set it up if you feel like sharing. (I can see it in the video, but I'm sure there are points that I'm missing just from watching it).

Thanks!

Thanks!

it was intended to be a wrist drag, but i saw him step in and so i just used all my weight to drag his wrist and trip his right foot with the underhook (sorta) with my left arm.

the best way to do the wrist drag - once you have secured the wrist give it a little push... then wait for his push back. use his momentum and pull the wrist and trip the lead leg.

since he posted his right leg i was able to trip it sideways and end side control...

this dosnt happen all the time however. the point of the wrist drag is to get the back or to drag him so hard he falls down and you advance position. but i incorperated a little judo ;)
