Well they did come out with the modern analog stick first and the rumble pack, both have been standard in gaming consoles since.

if you only base the games on graphics then you are right.but the snes was the shit when it come out, then 64 blew all the other shit out of the water with mario 64 and that was the next gen in gaming. gamecube sucked balls. but the wii, tho i have not played it yet , i have heard it is really fun. also with the ds and the pen pointer thing. its a whole new idea that nobody else is doing. instead of going the bigger better graphics path, nintendo focuses on gameplay and you got to admit they are special in what they come out with. plus its affordable. i think the wii is only $250? thats not bad when you comapre it to $400 and $600.

the PS1>>>64 the 64 had like 5 good games, i didnt like mario 64, but thats just me(dont try to convince me otherwise) the cube was possibly worse, if thats possible. the nes and snes were dominated. nintendo does have wild periphrals, but it is a fad and will fade away, IF they dont get the games to back it up, like the cube and the 64

ive tested games on the DS and it blows. the PSP is a better platform, just doesnt have good games.

mario 64, mario kart 64, golden eye, turok, doom 64, waverace, mortal kombat3, killer instinct gold, ZELDA. the 64 had a ton of games. i got the emulator on my computer and i still play some of these games. they were the shit.

im curious on what you didnt like about mario 64, i fucking loved that game. it was childish in a way but fun as hell and was the first actual 3-d roaming game where you went where you wanted.

The gameplay isn't any better than the graphics on the wii.

The Wii is basically the same as a gamecube or regular xbox hardware wise, just with an even worse controller.

i have to admit that nintendo has always been able to capture a sorta "funlike" feeling that is unique to other systems. def not sayin that its better, but i love all the systems. b4 i got my 360 i had everything b4 it, i i played my xbox, ps2, and gamecube all pretty equally. nintendo has some kool games that no1 else has. but like the nintendo games are like simple and relaxing. xbox and ps require a certain amount of focus for most games b/c they usually have a lot more funtions.

The game was really hard but that just made it so much more rewarding to play. Even when you couldn't get past something it never got boring to keep on trying.
