This guy at work last week was telling me that his 360 was fucked up and he needed to send it in for repair because he was not getting any picture at all when he turned it on. Today he told me that he fixed it by wrapping it up in a couple bath towels and let it run for 1/2 hour which made it overheat. He says that it works fine now. He said that he read about it online. I dunno... it may be worth a try if yours is having similar problems. I do not own one but I thought I would share. I suggest doing a bit of research before trying it though.

If it overheated, then it's done. A guy video taped his overheating and took it apart. He fried an egg on it. He should just send it in to see if MicroSoft will cover it.

I have heard of this. But I have heard that it is a temporary fix if it works at all.
