I was watching "The Office" tonight, and there was a commercial for the upcoming RedBull air races in Monument Valley. I just wanted to comment on how awesome the footage looked! The idea of basically autocrossing a plane like 50ft off the ground seems utterly a good idea, er, I mean insane. bowdown.gif
Has anyone ever gone to see air racing before? Is it pretty much like most other large racing events, where overall you can see way more via the coverage on TV, and simply go for the experience of sites and sounds?
Here are some vids of air racing.
