Unbelievable. He goes from training De La Hoya, to taking a non-paying unofficial assistant coach job with his son Floyd, to having no involvment whatsoever in the biggest fight in 5 years.
yeah I just read this to, its pretty bad that two grown men cant put aside there differences for the greater good
Snr has some good fighters in his stable right now, he will be fine ofcourse, Guzman Vs Katsidis might hurt them though (hopefully) WARR KATSIDIS!

This aint close to being the biggest fight ever.
However, I'm torn between these two..I think I'm going for oscar.
I keep changing my mind very often on this fight. Right now i believe Floyd will dance to a decision win. Oscar may have the power in this fight but Floyd is defensively too good and too smart to be hit cleanly.
He'll never stand toe-to-toe. So it will mainly be an outside fight.
But to be honest I'm hoping oscar can make it an exciting fight. Floyd is too full of himself and maybe he needs to learn a lesson by defeat.
By no means is this going to be an easy night for mayweather , i cant see him stopping de la hoya , but i defintely can see him boxing circles around de la hoya , and when floyd does that to his opponents he usually makes them look more worse than they actually are.
I think theres a chance Floyd may win by stoppage.
When Oscar gets in there he'll be fighting a guy that does things he's never had to deal with in his career, will he frustrated and tire when he keeps missing?Maybe,if so Floyd can go to work in the latter rds and get a TKO after wearing him down.
Floyd never gets tired, hes always stronger in the 2nd half of the fight so if the above scenario plays out we can guarantee Floyd will be right there to capatalize

Floyd is the more skilled fighter and IMO will win a UD, but Oscar De La Hoya seems to be pulling out all the stops in training (bringing in Shane Mosley was a great choice, anyone see him mimmicking Floyd's style in one of those preview shows?)
