Seriously, though. That's really really interesting. Especially the part where the article mentioned that they have little understanding of money and some other common parts of modern society. It would certainly be interesting if there were a series of articles or some documentary work showing how they adapt and change over time with exposure to a different way of life.

Yeah, its kinda fucked up that the drug dealers forced them out but its a good thing that they are so eager to interate themselves into the modern world.

People expect them to be depressed or something but theres no reason for them to be, its not like living in the jungle is easy.

Yeah, I'm sure though that they will be watched closely and studied by sociologists. My guess is that there are several universities fighting over who should in fact do the study.
