I've been thinking about some things. I find NS.net very addictive and I cant help posting here. I see nothing wrong with it. I got to know some of gr8 guys. But I think I need to end focus on post count totally. Get to know people. Have fun, discuss and share stuff and leave. What do you guys think.?!?

Also I would like to know your views on posting and stuff. 2-3 years down the road, what would you think of it?!?. Would you consider it waste of time.?!? Why/Why Not. Plz Reply and Have a healthy discussion.

Also are computers part of REAL WORLD. Why/Why Not.

Peace

I've been doing the forum thing for a while now. five years now I think its been. I dont consider it a waste of time because I've gotten to know some great people. you shouldnt focus only on postcount but it doesnt really hurt to set goals for yourself. like me, I'd like to catch up to BTJ by thursday. I've been whoring it up(though not as much as I have in the past) and today while I was posting with ax I learned he likes nascar. I forgot what my point was but I guess I'll just go with the fact that theres nothing wrong with wanting a higher postcount, just dont do pointless whoring. go with small talk and that way, you get to know your fellow posters while increasing your count.

So is for me, GodBro. You know that. All I'm sayin is that the focus on post count is wrong in some cases. Get to know people. Have fun, discuss and share stuff and leave. What do you guys think.?!?

Well, since I work in computers, anything that's web related is second nature to me. I've been online since the first day I've had a computer and I'll never have any regrets about it. I've done everything from IRC to gaming clans to community websites and I still have a few that have become part of my everyday life.

But like everything else, these things have their limits. Over the past year or so, I've tried to limit my enrollment in these types of things. True that there are some rewards to them, like meeting new people and making new friends, but you can also achieve these things in real life also and to a certain degree they're more rewarding in real life because you can share the same experiences on a greater level then you would online.

But, the one thing that the internet has brought to this world that no one will ever be able to take away, its the diversity of the friends/people you know. I have friends that live in Sweden that I've known for almost 10 years now. I have friends that have moved to China to teach English that I'll be able to keep intouch with and that's the one reason that I'll never stop having an 'online life' so to say.

Sorry, I'm babbling away... I'll stop now.

Nah bro, if you're having fun and enjoying something then it's never a waste of time, and on the plus side you're meeting some great people along the way. If you don't feel right about focusing on post count then slow it down a little and see how it feels, experiment!

If it feels good, do it.

IE: my dick is in a vacuum cleaner right now.

Let the good times roll.

Seriously, the only time you question something you love is when you're worrying about what others think. If its interfering with your functioning in everyday life, that's one thing. But if posting on Ninjashoes makes you happy, and isn't causing you a divorce or anything: rock the fuck on.

magus, roll with the flow bro, do what you feel is right. take me for instance, i'm trying to get as much time in the shoes as i can because once i move (2 months give or take) i will be busy with so much other shit you all wont see me much at all. so do what you got to do.

Usually the postcount thing becomes boring and you start posting exclusively for fun naturally, dont let it worry you. I like forum posting and I like knowing ppl from other places and that same interests as me, especially as not many of my friends are interested in MMA (maybe none).

Ninjahoes pwn.

Happened to me and I was away for some months, which is why many of the newer posters didnt know me before, but I hope you'll be able to become a regular again as I did!!
