Before you could just put img code in your sig to add a pic. Problem was that there was no way for me to restrict the size of the file that way so there were alot of huuuge sigs that were not only causing pages to load up slow for people with high speed but people with dial up or cellphones couldnt even look at the site.

Sig pics are ok as long as they arent super huge, if they are super huge they use up alot of bandwith because they gotta open up in every post in every thread.

If you want a pic in your sig you have to go to user cp>signatures

then scroll to the bottom and upload your pic, if its too big you will have to edit it down, then once its uploaded click insert then save it

sorry about the pain the ass but people were putting huge pics in their sig the size of two screens or gif animations that were 8943757560370 kigabytes, I dont want to wait an hour to open every thread

as long as its 400 by 600 and 100k or smaller its ok

the forum should work alot smoother for everyone from now on

Why does mine say that the limits are:

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 100 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).

My sig pics are insanely small.

This is what I am trying to use...

It shrinks it on it's own...I'm not doing it.
