I'm planning on buying a speed bag soon... I was just wondering what would be the best brand/type/size to buy since i don't really know a whole lot about it... i know larger sizes are supposed to be for beginners... that's about it..so any help would be appreciated

thats the best way to go about it. just get one and see if you like it. sooner or later you will want a tiny one so you can go faster. the cheap everlast tend to rip/pop often for me. pro boxing ones are decent and priced decent as well. start off with the regular clutch then when you get sick of it get a nice one, google speed bag clutch and look around for the nice ones ther worth it. also dont get a cheap heavy bag speed bag combo. get a wall mount with a nice thick board, itll help with consistency and getting a more solid bounce wich is very important. good luck, start slow, have fun
