I've had sooo much fun playing with google earth. I recognized some of the locations shown there...one of the cooler ones was the Atacama Giant, a moderately well-known geoglyph in the Atacama desert. Here's a picture from ground-level:

There was also the infamous nude sunbather that was featured on youtube a while back, and I lol'ed when I saw the "crop circle" cut in the shape of the Mozilla Firefox logo!

There also used to a be a "giant space bug" on Google Earth, which was actually a tiny louse-like insect that had gotten stuck on one of the film slides before they scanned it in. I believe they've fixed that particular oddity now, though.
