Hi guys,

I decided to upload some grappling vids of me and a freind of mine to get some feedback on my technique (or lack thereof :-P)
I do Japanese Ju Jitsu and we don't really get instructed on ground work other than a few pins, etc.
So most of my groundwork is self taught, anyway, let me know what you think

It's me with the red/black/white shirt and the other is luke

What style of Jiujitsu does your instructor teach? I ask because I train Japanese Jiu Jitsu too, I think it's a combination of Gatto and Itta-Ryu, and all we do is takedowns and groundwork.

I'm not familiar with Itta or Gatto-ryu jujutsu....are they Gendai schools? And what features distinguishes them from other schools? I think I've come across them b4 but can't think where or when

Being a gi guy, I am a big advocate on establishing position before flying into sub attempts.

agreed^^^^ position before submission

also the gi forces you to learn the technique, you can't slip and slide in Gi. you need to know how to work or else you are teh screwed
