I see alot of question about belief in GOD.. Some topics about whether or not the bible is true (probablly by people that have never read it with an open mind)
Think abou this...
In the bible, GOD sent the 10 commandments down to moses i believe, GOD later creatted the 7 deadly sins.. Could these truly be guidelines to a peaceful, honest, trusting evolution?? a cleaner evolution if you will??
lets go through some of em..
1.Thou shalt not steel. clearly a rule set to avoid unnecessary anger and suspicion, alot of people are killed daily in robberies and muggings..
This also leads into one of the 7deadlyu sins:
a)GREED -if we werent raised to value posessions so dearly there really would be no need for the robberies and muggings (again just basic impulse abd selfishness.) The fact the people live homless well others sleep on money is absolutely rediculous and feeds this NEED for GREED..
2.) thou shalt not covet thy neighbours wife - again another rule set to avoid unneccesary hurt, anger and mistrust.. How happy would the world be without marriages ending in divorce due to affair? all those troubled people in the world that grew up without a mom or a dad wouldn't be, they would most likely be normal children..
3.) another christian rule, no sex before marriage.. - again there woulnt be as many abortions no teenage girls getting pregnant etc.etc... single moms wouldn't be so abundant and again more children would be rightfully happy..
do you see what i'm getting at with just those 3 examples?? if we as a race actually followed these rules from the beginning, we would have no wars, we have no murders, we would have no affairs, we would have possibly no rapes and no abortions(rape goes with the greed.
IMO those rules were for a purpose and instead of trying to understand them and even followign them, we question them and ask why...
Pick up a news paper, go to a media website.. and you'll have yoru answer..
we destroy and pollute our oceans and fresh water lakes becasue it's FINANCIALLY CHEAPER to pollute than to dispose of toxic waste appropriately.. We pollute our air in order to see who can drive a car the fastest around a track 500times..
We kill animals with sonor, just to see if it works...
IMO humans as a race are glutenous disrespectful pigs.. we'll kill animals just to hang their heads on our walls..
Perhaps with this guidance that was given, we could have been better than what we are.. It's clear that the potential is there just not the effort...
