I just don't think it matters that there is a post limit to see the hilight section. I'm not here for the hilights or videos, I've only been inside once or twice, I'm here because I'm allowed to speak my mind and have fun without worrying about getting banned. If people show up for the fight vids chances are they will see that this is a great site with knowledgeable posters and decide to stay around.

I see your point that there could be a downside as the amount of useless posts will increase but with a 10 second waiting period between posts it's going to take somebody roughly 33.3 minutes to make it to the 200 posts needed to get into the hilights forum... and in my opinion, if somebody takes the time to post nonsense for 30 minutes straight they might not have shown they belong but they have definitely shown dedication so they half ass deserve to be inside.

I personally welcome the new change, gives me a chance to break out of my shell, I registered back in December but I was new to MMA so I just read and didn't post so I wouldn't get flamed. I do however think the jump from 10 to 200 was a little much, I think it would have been better if it gradually got to 200. Like for example went from 10 to 50, then 100 and etc.

it was gonna be 200 back then also, but ninja didnt want to. however the leechers are gettin out of hand, nevertheless the other option was to allow them based on rep, which would be as dificult.

Fights arent mine to give away, they belong to Zuffa, Dreamstage and the rest. I would rather not "build a business" based on pirating. I would rather have a forum with a few people than basically just be running a torrent/warez site.

The fights were great for getting our first 3000 members but now we have enough people to create interesting content which gets more people here.

Theres places allover the internet with dedicated posters, Im talking about forums based on knitting, an obscure dog breed and shit like that. Having a completely free area to trade vids does make the membership grow fast but most of these people only show up during ppv's anyway so they really arent "quality members" who add content and make things more interesting/appealing.

Good search engine rankings>giving away free fights.

I know Bruce wants to be against anything anyone says on here but I wish he wasen't such a cocksucker about it.
