Everyone has a different purpose, your living to find it.

I think the journey, for lack of a better phrase, is the whole thing, the point, we can make of it what we want

The original meaning of life was to get laid, reproduce and croak..

now, from birth to death, you start off in propaganda training camp about the age of 4-5(junior kindergaten.) and depending on the person can last until the age of 25 or later.(callege/university.) buy that time it's your own stupidity if yoru still buying into it..

from the propoganda field trip, it's off to the working life, in this ilfe nothing is free.. You have to pay for shelter, warmth, lighting and even water.. To do this you commit 8+hrs a day of your life doing the things you spent the last 25yrs of your life learing about in the propaganda grinder..

then you reproduce(if yoru cute and not gay lol) feeding the propaganda machine more young victims thsu continuing a cycle we all fuking hate....
unfortunatly with the costs of attending these schools so one can survive later on in life on their own (in a world based on business) the working parent is unable to move ahead in life, they are stuck at this solid financial plateau where nothing really changes and travelinig vacations are rare..Thenl they retire on a shitty pension and eventually die..
There kids will follow the same cycle.

The purpose of life is to be happy,to find happiness in the small things life offers & you'll only achieve this by living in the moment.Are intellectuals who ponder on such philosophical & vexing issues any happier than simple people you know?

Think of someone you know that seems pretty happy about life. How would you describe their attitude? Are they kidding themselves? Are they ignoring the ugly truth about life that's right in front of their eyes and pretending that some happy fantasy world that exists only in their heads is real? Well, guess what. That is exactly how every happy person in the world acts, And the really strange thing is that it's OK.Can it possibly be a bad thing?
Contentment derives from giving ur best & being happy.Contentment is akin to completion... where one will never feel the need to ponder such vexing issues as the purpose of life.

It's really simple actually if you think about it. All the things that make you up is encoded in your DNA. We are here to help each other along , to procreate and keep this crazy evolution thing going, to Keep evolving and progressing.

The "you'll never know" or "find your own purpose" answers are lame. Translation: I don't know/you figure it out.

My answer? Read "The Disapearance of the Universe" by Gary Renard. It's available in the metaphysical/New Age section of any Barnes and Nobles/Borders, etc.

It's not a feel good "enjoy the journey" type answer, nor is it hopeless.
I couldn't possibly try to explain it here--and I don't mean to be pretentious by saying that.

I got tired of the canned answers, cop-outs, and fairy-tales--as well as the "scientific": "nothing is real unless you can pick it up and kick it around" theory that quantam physics is rapidly disproving.

This worked for me. It may not work for you, and I don't believe you'll go to hell or live a meaningless life if it doesn't. But if anybody is seriously questioning, and not just trying to validate what they already believe or come up with some snappy one-sentence philosophy--this is worth checking out.

I honestly think the purpose of life is to help those around you.

The purpose of life is to live it, and to live it with abundance. We as humans are suppossed to take the laws of the universe and use it to obtain what we need to live happy, joyful, exuberant lives. For those who know how to do such, they're livin high with no financial, emotional, health problems. For those who haven't figured it out yet, their immediate goal is to find out how to use the common universal laws and make these laws work for them. I personally think that besides living using these laws to live with abundance, we need to use our gifts to bless the world/help others. My answer :grin:
