I fucking love rubber guard

iv been really working on my rubber guard lately, and the people i havnt showed all the shit to at my gym fall right into the trap every single time.

from mission control to the jiu claw it never fails..

i must thank TBA for showing me these variations of the rubber guard... and if anyone knows some nice tips that i can visually see in a vid... i would most appreciate it.

I've been using the rubberguard i find that if i hold on to it for too long my opponent will pull away from me but it leaves open a few moves ..... i havent perfected all subs from rubberguard yet.

i swear i just do that mission control shit (although i cant grab my ankel.. i have to grab my foot) the jiu claw (omoplata pretty much) and the chill dog... but that "chill dog" where you hug the knee is key.. and its awesome cuz you really cannot get out of it easily. gi, no gi, dont matter

Agreed.... I have the rubber guard down pretty well it's setting up for the submission is what i need to improve on because sometimes it takes me time to break down the guy wearing him down in other words ............. Then again it's hard to get ppl in my guard they always fight my guard pull's like if they were being held at knife point.

I just started messing with rubber gaurd in the fall and it is awesome. I got a guy last night in a gogoplata which was the first time I had ever landed that. I have the book and when I first saw the videos posted above it made things much clearer.
