It's very simple... eat right and work out... emphasis on the "eating right" part.

Well... then "best" depends on what your goals are and where you stand now. Do you do any type of activities now? Do you plan on doing any? Need some more information.

Compound lifts will be your best friend. Bench Press/Squat/Deadlift/Dip variations. You work out multiple muscle and therefore burn more calories a session. There are many different programs you can find online. Start light and get your form down to build strength and muscle. (Muscle helps burn calories and fat)

Cardio wise... Jump Rope is good, Swimming, Running (not jogging), HIIT is great, Tabatas will kill you but burns calories like no other, once you build up decent strength you can do complexes which do wonders as well.

And the most important thing would be to eat clean. Drink lots of water. Cut out the junk food and fast food.

this is wrong. you wanna do high intensity like usho said. like for running you would sprint for a short time then walk then sprint then walk. it takes less time and it spikes your metabolism i guess so that you lose more weight throughout the day. you wanna do challenging things. work hard and you will lose weight. swimming is great though since it uses your entire body, but you wanna workout the same way with that. go as hard as you can then an easy pace then as hard as you can. HIIT like usho said

i didnt really look up any sources or whatever but ive done a lot of reading about it and studies show that this type of workout is much more effective at burning fat.

Clean diet, 20 minutes of cardio a week on a tread mill with the incline set to 10 or higher. Also change it up speeds and inclines.

there is always a thread like this.
It's very simple, eat right, and run.. If you weight lift, Do light weight, and do alot of reps like 15-25 reps.
People always want the easy way out to lose weight, and to gain muscle. There is no easy way, no pills, supplements can help you, They pretty much are placebos and scams...
If pills/supplements worked, everyone would be buff, and thin. It's not an overnight process, but you can do it with hard work, and motivation. genetics play a huge role in it as well.

You just gotta pay attention and balance what you eat, combine that with excersise and vitamins/supplements.

yeah fully agree man, and just intake less calories than you need, but keep the protein very high so as to not sacrifice muscle mass

I highly disagree with almost everything this post has to offer except for what I've highlighted in bold

this could potentially work. you should sit in a cold area, which hopefully will trigger your shivering reflex. you'll expend a lot of energy trying to stay warm and your body will have to break down food and fat. this is of course in addition to exercising in copious amounts.

somebody probably already said this...but, eat 5-6 meals a day 2-3 hours apart while eating meals low in carbs (except for the morning) and low in fat. your total calories should be below your maintenance needs. carbs should be low glycemic carbs and fats should be mostly the omega 3 kind of polyunsaturated. then do some low intensity cardio 3-6 times a week for at least 30 minute time span. If you want to lift, go ahead but make sure to eat enough extra protein.

diet diet diet....change up your workouts every couple of weeks as well and you'll be fine. Don't worry about those fat loss pills. All they are is caffeine that is designed to boost you core temperature and get you wirey. A good thing to do is to think about the kind of shape you want to be in. Find people that are in that kind of shape and just look at what they all do the same. Repeat them and you should be on the right track
