yes, even in the bruce lee training books they mentioned this. its been known for a minute now.

I started jump roping a few days ago and yeah it defeinetly kicks your ass especially when you do high knees and shit like that

also just jumping on the spot and rotating 360 degrees every 4 jumps is what i do at training.....do that 60 times (250 jump ropes) and take a break and do it again 5 mins later or something its awesome for ur calves and thighs

it work outs your whole body, my calfs get wrecked.

and I believe that is true about the jog and shit.

when you skip with one foot and do stuff like that its even more brutal

yeah. i believe this. it burns when you do it nonstop for even a couple minutes.

Yeah, in the manual that came with my jump rope, it said that
"10 min on a jump rope is like running a mile in 8 min". Its pretty interesting.
