yeah major brand american beer is crap. i love some local breweries around the country, though. a few good ones here in st. louis actually, like O'Fallon Brewery.

most of my favorite beers are belgian ales, though. st. bernardus abt 12 is probably #1 for me.

all that said, i can't afford $4.25 a bottle for a belgian import so i just get cheap crap and close my eyes and chug until i can't taste it any more.
