San Jose is only 3 back of Anaheim... the game coming up between SJ and VAN could end up being a big one

It's funny though that Nashville is tied for 2nd in the NHL but is in 4th place in the conference. I understand the need for division rivalries but man oh man is it going to suck to be either Detroit or Nashvilee (whichever one finishes 2nd in the division)

This is true, but with the way Fleury has been playing lately and the lack of skilled defensive defenseman I think Marty and the rest of the Devils can sit back and relax

what do you mean? fleaury has lost 1 game in like 19 games. he played bad against the islanders but since the all star game he has been solid.

what do you mean? fleaury has lost 1 game in like 19 games. he played bad against the islanders but since the all star game he has been solid.

I just mean that he is unreliable, I know he is winning but he is allowed teams to get back into games that should be in the bag. Starting with the last game against the Devils and then tracking back to the 4 games prior to that he has allowed teams to come back from 3 or more goals and force overtime. The penguins are winning but Fleury is far from the reason why. Even Coach Therien has recently complained about how inconsistent Fleury has been.

But I'll be honest, as a Devils fan I check the standings daily and see how much room the Devil have on the Pens. I think it's really going to come down to the 3 games remaining between the two teams (feb27@pits, mar8@pits, mar14@nj)

Saying they beat on the Devils is an OVERSTATEMENT. The Pens gave up a 3 goal lead 3 times (I think) and the Devils almost forced Overtime. It was a good game though but I think the Devils are safe...

Even though they lost to Washington today *FUCK*

baumgartners a good pick up for the stars,he earned his spot in the n.h.l. he played in the minors for years.bob clark gave him 1.2 or something, thats insane and he offered kesler 1.9 and forced the canucks to match the offer and mess up the salary cap.baumgartbers ok but if bieksa makes $550 baumgartner should not be offered any more, bobby clarks gone senile.

Even though it seems like a bum deal (it did to me at first as well) I think this is a great move for the Bruins future. Wideman is a smooth skating 3rd or 4th defenseman and he had decent numbers on St. Louis so you can imagine him on a team like Boston with Chara.
