NEWS FLASH

Oscar De La Hoya's long-time trainer Floyd Mayweather has further escalated his already very public demands for a $2 million fee to train the Golden Boy in his May 5 megabout against Mayweather's son Floyd Mayweather Jr. "I told him my figure and he said he'd get back with me," Mayweather Sr. told USA Today. "I haven't heard from him yet, but soon it's going to be time to step up or step off." Floyd Sr. also stated, "What I'm asking for is nowhere near what he's going to make. There's too much money for me to take chits and bits."

Haha, this is probably going to be the biggest money maker for years to come, can't blame Floyd Sr for wanting a nice slice of the pie.

He'll get it. His name as D's trainer will mean a lot for this fight historicaly.

He's not going to get it. Oscar has been fighting a long time, he'll get with another trainer and come up with a game plan. The only way he keeps him is if it's to try to get in PBF head. Which I don't think would work.
